Whicher Ridge Wines

See, smell, taste and experience, a wine tasting experience like no other in Australia!

Whicher Ridge is a small family-owned winery and vineyard operated by a dynamic team of two, Neil and Cathy Howard. They are a vigneron and winemaker couple with a combined 50 years of experience between them. Neil and Cathy take a ‘hands-on’ approach to the growing of their grapes and the making of their wines and they have a ‘tread lightly on the earth’ philosophy with their sustainable farming practices.

The Wine Sensory Garden is a truly unique wine experience being the first one of its kind in Australia. The extensive Garden was planted in 2014 and is designed in figure eight, infinity shape with sections themed for seven different wine varieties.

There are several wine experiences on offer, which are all bookable through our website. The ‘Pick and Sip’ Experience is our signature and most popular experience. This is a a guided tour and tasting in the wine sensory garden.
All tastings and garden tours are with Cathy, the winemaker.

Visitors are welcome to wander around the Garden and immerse themselves in the sights, smells and flavours of the plants at their own pace.
