Carnarvon Airport

Cruise Terminals and Airports

A short direct flight to Carnarvon airport from Perth puts you within easy reach of World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef and some of the State’s best year-round fishing, snorkelling, surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing spots. It’s also the quickest route if you’re planning to climb the largest monocline on Earth – Mount Augustus.

Scheduled flights depart daily from Perth to Carnarvon, getting you there in two hours and 15 minutes. There’s also the option to make a stop at Monkey Mia (1 hour and 45 minutes from Perth) en route to or from Carnarvon, for a memorable close encounter with its famously friendly wild dolphins.

The airport is located just a two-minute drive from central Carnarvon, and is owned and operated by the Shire of Carnarvon. Taxis and car hire options are available.

Scenic helicopter flights from the airport offer some of the most incredible aerial views of Carnarvon’s strikingly rugged coastline and from June to November, you might even spot humpback whales on their annual migration.
