Cruise Terminals and Airports

Just a short walk, or free bus ride, from Fremantle Port brings you to Fremantle – one of the world’s best preserved 19th century port streetscapes, filled with an eclectic mix of history, art, foodie delights and quirky boutiques.

Cruise ships berth at Victoria Quay. From here, you’re a 35-minute train ride, or a leisurely river cruise, from Perth’s CBD, riverside walks, buzzing laneways and rooftop bars. Iconic Cottesloe Beach can be reached with a 10-minute train ride and a short walk. Kings Park, one of the world’s largest inner city parks, is just a 25-minute drive away, while Perth’s favourite island playground, Rottnest, is a 25-minute ferry ride from Fremantle Port. Amazing marine life encounters, including a swim with wild dolphins, can be found 40 minutes’ drive away in Rockingham, and you’re only 50 minutes’ drive from Western Australia’s oldest wine region, the Swan Valley.

Before you leave port, get fascinating insights into Fremantle’s rich history at the Maritime Museum, Fremantle Prison and the Round House (WA’s oldest public building). Grab a coffee on Cappuccino Strip, cocktails at Bathers Beach, catch of the day at Fishing Boat Harbour and fresh local produce at Fremantle Markets.
