Onslow Airport lands you in a fishing, diving and snorkelling paradise and one of the few places on Earth where you can witness the rare natural phenomenon of the Staircase to the Moon. You’re also just a short cruise or scenic flight away from pristine white sand beaches and marine life rich coral reefs and atolls of the Mackerel Islands, where you can even play castaway on your own private island.
Virgin operates flights between Onslow and Perth from Monday to Friday. They’ll get you there within approximately two hours and it’s just a four-minute ride by car or taxi to Onslow town centre. Charter flights to Onslow are also available from Exmouth, Karratha and Carnarvon.
The airport is a security controlled airport, owned and operated by the Shire of Ashburton and fully licensed by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). In addition to scheduled and charter flights, Onslow airport also caters for Royal Flying Doctor Services.
Car hire is available from the arrivals end of the terminal, and a bistro serves refreshments just outside the departures lounge.
