A hire-and-drive experience where you get to skipper. Cruise along quiet waterways, fish, hike the bush walks, relax on the decks, slip off to wineries from the old bridge, and dinghy into local cafes. It’s a floating escape.

You embark at a private marina that’s a local biodiversity hot spot itself. Teaming with unique orchids, wildflowers, stunning bird life, and freshwater dolphin pods, there’s great river fishing, heaps of local history and fresh, tannin-tinged waters.

The fleet has four-berth, six-berth and eight-berth houseboats, perfect for families, special occasions and groups. Carefully selected moorings showcase the Blackwood River with adjacent moorings for two or more boat parties. Available all year round with swimming platforms for summer and cabin heating for winter, dinghies, kayaks and stand-up boards for extra fun.

An eco-certified, environmentally conscious, low-impact operation. The swing moorings protect river beds and river banks. Fully sealed vessels with low-emission four-stroke outboard motors pass environmental certification standards. There’s no nosing up to banks and the private marina is off-grid with solar power and pure fresh harvested rainwater.
