Funcats Watersports is one of Perth’s iconic must-do activities and one of the few places in the world where you can sail your own small boat directly in front of a major city. With no experience necessary, there is no better way to enjoy the picturesque city than a relaxing sail on the beautiful Swan River. Their free sailing lesson takes just 10 minutes, it really is that easy!
For those that want to take it a little slower, they have a large fleet of kayaks and paddle boards available for hire. A free lesson is included for those who haven’t paddled before.
The fleet includes 25 catamarans 12 stand up paddle-boards, 10 single kayaks and 4 double kayaks.
Catch the ferry across to South Perth and walk along the foreshore for eight minutes. Please be aware that Funcats closes for the winter months from the middle of May until late September.
