SeaLink Rottnest Island operates passenger ferry services between Perth and Fremantle to Rottnest Island. They also offer charters and special event cruises for groups and can comfortably hold around 380 people.
The vessels “Quokka 1”, “Quokka 2” and the newest addition to the fleet “Quokka 3”, are the most modern and high-tech passenger ferries servicing Rottnest Island.
The “Enviro-Cat” vessel boasts lower fuel use per passenger than a small four-cylinder car. The hull and machinery package was specifically developed to protect the maritime environment. This makes her one of the most environmentally friendly vessels in Australia.
The vessel also features the Humphree active ride control, a high-tech system that automatically adjusts the vessels’ trim to give the smoothest ride possible with the added benefit of reducing fuel consumption.

Ferries depart direct from B Shed Victoria Quay, Fremantle to Rottnest Island daily. Leaving at multiple times from 7.00aam, the ferry trip will have you arriving on the island in 35 minutes.

Ferry departing direct from Barrack St Jetty Perth to Rottnest Island daily. Leaving at 8:30am, the 90 minute experience via the Swan River will arrive on the island at 10:00am. Following a day of exploring on the island, passengers will depart Rottnest Island for Perth at 4pm for a 5:45pm arrival.
