Transperth, Perth’s public transport system, operates across the metropolitan area and consists of bus, train and ferry services. Transperth is a simple, fast and affordable way to get around and explore what Perth has on offer.
With a valid Transperth ticket, you can use any combination of bus, train and ferry services for up to three hours. Transperth has two types of ticketing, cash tickets and SmartRider, Transperth’s electronic ticketing system. Transperth recommends SmartRider as it can save you up to 20 per cent on a cash ticket and it can be purchased at any Transperth InfoCentre or selected retail outlets.
Transperth provides a number of ways for you to plan your journey. You can use the JourneyPlanner on their website, the Transperth App for all services or the Transperth Assist App for Perth Busport services (IOS and Android only) and Transperth’s SMS service where Telstra, Optus and Virgin customers can SMS 13 62 13 whilst other customers use 0429 33 22 11.
You can also call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 (TTY: 133 677, TIS: 13 14 50) or visit a Transperth InfoCentre at Elizabeth Quay Bus Station, Perth Station, Perth Underground Station or Perth Busport.
