Kapalga Travel operate adventure sightseeing tours all over Australia.

Tours include a 9-day Kimberley tour from Darwin and a 10-day Kimberley tour from Broome, a 7-day Kakadu & Arnhem Land tour, an 11-day Perth to Broome tour, 13-day Darwin to Adelaide tour and an 11-day tour from Darwin to Cairns (and reverse).

We also operate day tours to Litchfield National Park and Kakadu National Park.

The tours are suited to anyone who is fit and active. It’s all about embracing adventure, forgetting about home-comforts and getting to grips with the Australian outback experience.

For anyone who wants adventure but would prefer to do it at their own pace or if they have specific requirements, Kapalga Travel also run private charters anywhere in the Top End.

A beautiful wilderness exists just an hour and a half out of Darwin offering plenty of activity for adventurous travellers as well as a relaxing escape for those just wanting to get out of the city. Litchfield National Park is 1500 square kilometres of waterfalls, stunning landscape and Top End flora and fauna.

A 1-day tour to Litchfield National Park, which gives you an insight into the history of Darwin and it’s surrounds as well as the chance to swim and hang out at some of best waterfalls the park has to offer. You can learn about the endemic flora and fauna with your guide and spot some of the local wildlife that makes Litchfield their home.

There is flexibility with how this tour is run. Either a group of passengers who have booked on separately or, you can book the tour as a family, a group of friends or colleagues.

Offering the ultimate off-road adventure tour through the remote Kimberley outback, allowing you to experience the very best of nature, wildlife and adventure, as you travel along the Gibb River Road.

Bush camp throughout the tour, prepare all our own meals and sleep under the stars in a swag. The vibe is relaxed and friendly; feel like you’re traveling with a group of mates, and having the time of your life in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia.

The tour begins in Broome and you start with a stop at Derby’s famous Boab Prison Tree before plenty of hiking and swimming at Tunnel Creek, Windjana Gorge, Bell Gorge, Adcock Gorge, Galvans Gorge and Manning Gorge.

You’ll cross the Pentacost River and arrive at the famous El Questro station where you can trek and cool-off in the most picturesque swimming holes. Afterwards, you’ll venture into the Bungle Bungles before heading to Kununurra and Lake Argyle.

The final day will see you swim at Edith Falls before arriving in the Northern Territory’s capital city of Darwin.

You can incorporate scenic flights, boat cruises and trekking. Catering for special interests such as aboriginal rock painting, bird watching and photography, etc.

You’ll have your own personal guide – Adam. He is highly-skilled and has a great reputation. He has been working in northern Australia for 10 years and has in-depth knowledge of all the destinations across the Kimberley and the Top End of Australia. Adam’s understanding of the region’s history, his respect for the land and his horticultural knowledge is second to none. His skills derive from a childhood spent outside navigating bush land, learning about plants and discovering wildlife. He has an unbelievable eye for spotting animals; if it’s there, he’ll see it! He also has a keen interest in rock art, particularly Bradshaw rock art, one of the oldest types found in the Kimberley.

A 11-day adventure-filled trip traveling from Darwin to Cairns through the most remote parts of the Savannah Way. Travel east through Kakadu, Mataranka, Lorrella Springs and Lawn Hill before finishing up in the tropical rainforest on the outskirts of Cairns.

The adventure starts in Darwin where your guide will pick you up about 6am.

On the first day you’ll head towards Katherine and stop to observe the intriguing Magnetic and Cathedral termite mounds, before hiking into Edith Falls for a swim.

Over the next few days you’ll head into the Victoria River region to observe the ancient rock art, and cruise to an island on Lake Argyle where you will camp overnight.

Next is the Bungle Bungles, then you’ll join the Gibb River Road and arrive at El Questro station. This region lends itself to trekking and cooling-off in the most picturesque swimming holes.

You’ll continue along the Gibb River Road venturing into Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Adcock Gorge, Bell Gorge, Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek; before arriving at the pearling capital of Broome.
