The River at Kiah

The River is something special – a slow, sustainable soul filling retreat experience. Consciously designed to support people in disconnecting from hustle and reconnecting with themselves and what matters through attuning to the rhythms of nature and engaging in daily ritual. Sarah, a yoga teacher and nutrition coach, has taken decades of a slow, low tox, conscious lifestyle and channeled it into this unique offering.

The 50 acre property has ocean views, private river frontage and no neighbours in sight. It’s conveniently located 10 minutes drive out of Eden, but when you’re on property you wouldn’t know it. The sounds of bell birds replace traffic noise and the reception is deliciously limited – The River is the real deal when it comes to retreating.

The stone lodges are a blend of nature and conscious ritualistic living. There are thoughtful touches everywhere you look – unique natural furniture, organic loose leaf teas and beautiful ceramic teapots, a vase of fresh herbs, essential oils, carefully selected books, 100% Flax Linen bedding, organic wool and latex mattresses and chemical free cleaning and toiletry products.

An adult only and limit the number of guests on the property to eight at any one time which is part of the magic. Kayakers and mountain bike riders are very welcome.
