A quiet relaxed Bed and Breakfast is located on the banks of the might Clarence River. Squeakygate Retreat is all about chilling; doing precisely what you need to do to relax and unwind; you’re within 20 minutes driving distance of the beautiful beaches of Yamba and Iluka.
There are no near neighbours, no noise, no stress; just watch the mighty Clarence flow by at your doorstep here at Ashby in Northern NSW, just 10 minutes off the Pacific Highway.
There are gorgeous views, birdlife, kangaroos and wallabies, great fishing out the front, great food and you’re in 20 minutes’ driving distance of the beautiful beaches of Yamba.
Squeakygate is pet friendly. You are welcome to bring your pet, so long as the animal(s) is/are well behaved. The owners have two staffies themselves. Friendly staff are always happy to serve you.

This a smaller and more ‘masculine’ room, as you can imagine. It has an office, table and chair and also a place for you luggage. It has a very comfortable double bed.
Balcony BlanketsThis room is the best and largest room they have. It is pure luxury. It’s large, with a queen size bed, sitting area, large bathroom and access to the veranda through two sliding doors.
Guests often have breakfast on the veranda facing north. It’s a lovely warm sunny spot to enjoy your breakfast overlooking the mighty Clarence River.
Balcony Blankets DVD/Bluray Player In-room movies Lounge/Dining Area TelevisionThis room is smaller. It has a double bed with a single bed above it. It’s perfect for children, or for another couple who may be travelling with you. Of course it has its own bathroom and access to the veranda.
The views of the Clarence are just as good… with the sun streaming onto the south-western veranda all afternoon.
Balcony Bath Blankets DVD/Bluray Player In-room movies Lounge/Dining Area TelevisionThis is Cheryl’s bedroom. There is a space for your suitcase. It has a very comfortable queen sized bed, and a walk in robe and dressing room. Its is a very comfortable ‘girly’ room.
