Set on Tallawudjah Creek, you can enjoy swimming and relaxing in the peaceful Orara Valley. Based within a large farming community and next to the old railway lines used to cart timber. This place is perfect if you’re searching for a quiet, relaxing way to unwind and escape the rat race. You’re welcome to collect fallen branches and sticks to light a fire and watch the sun set over the mountain. Set up camp above the creek on fairly level ground, which has shallow and deep swimming holes. Relax in the sun and watch the sunset behind the mountain. There is great 4WDing nearby including old railway tracks and tunnels, waterfalls and lookouts. Just a few minutes down the road, the quaint town of Glenreagh has a pub, general store, fuel, bakery and post office. It’s the oldest in the Orara Valley, known for its history rich in resources including gold and timber. This is a quiet and relaxing getaway with no large, loud parties allowed. There are no facilities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace.
