Dead Horse Gully campground

Caravan, Camping and Holiday Parks

Camp among the massive granite boulders of Sturt National Park – a place that has to be seen to be believed.

Located near the town of Tibooburra, an Aboriginal word meaning a place of heaps of rocks’, Dead Horse Gully is surrounded by huge granite boulders that look like a pile of giant marbles. They’ve been in this place for thousands of years and with the Sturt’s desert peas growing around them; provide a dramatic and beautiful backdrop for a great outback camping experience.

It’s a well-equipped campground, with free barbecues and picnic tables that are perfect for cooking up an outback feast on, and Tibooburra is nearby so you can pick up some supplies or enjoy a meal in town.
