Hidden River Valley, Buckenbowra

With this year’s abundant rainfall we have seen enormous amount of regeneration and recovery from the 2020 bushfire and flood events. Surrounding is 2.5kms of the pristine Buckenbowra River with deep clear swimming holes, State forests and National Park for exploring. We are located 19km off the Pacific Highway from Mogo on an all weather gravel/dirt road with a concrete causeway crossing at the entrance of the property. Phone reception is pretty reliable. The campsite overlooks farmland with views to the river flats and mountains. A large and open level grassy area is perfect for tents, caravans and RVs.
A flushing toilet and a hot water shower is available. A deep swimming hole is close by, wonderful for a dip, snorkling, gold panning…
At the edge of the swimming hole is mowed grass area for relaxing. Children are welcome, although to be supervised at all times. We also have a designated campfire area with firewood available if requested. Dogs welcome if controlled at all times and do not interfere with our livestock.
