The Family Hotel Maitland

The Family Hotel is a laid back establishment located in Central Maitland. Founded in 1860, the hotel has been serving the people of the Hunter and the surrounds since that time.

The second floor of this historic building is equipped with recently renovated accommodation. Each room is a small pub-style room perfect for budget, overnight stays. Each room is fitted with a new queen bed with quality bed linen, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini fridge and a smart television. There are two shared bathrooms that service six rooms in total.

Being the second oldest hotel in Maitland, the hotel does not have a lift or disabled access to the rooms, with the only access to the rooms being a single flight of stairs.

Downstairs you will find delicious food from the new low and slow barbecue restaurant, Rudy’s American Barbeque, where meals can be washed down by a selection of drinks available at the bar.
