Flat Rock Farm
Where To Stay Upper Lansdowne, Mid-Coast, New South Wales
This family farm is 120 years old, and one of the first dairy farms built in Upper Lansdowne. The property has native and European bee hives, wild birds, paddocks of cows, and spectacular views.
The private campsite is located below the volcanic plug, Mount Olive, just next to the semi-permanent creek. It is tucked into a very pretty area of the property with filtered sunlight, and lots of beautiful nooks to explore. Kids big and small will love it!
Further afield on the property are paddocks and forest, guests are welcome to explore. The other side of the volcanic plug where you’ll camp is a breeding ground for black cockatoos, so you’ll see them daily, along with other birdlife and wallabies. You’re welcome to light a campfire and enjoy a barbeque under the stars and by the beautiful gum trees.
There are lookouts and trail walks within half an hour from the property, or you may prefer to walk down the quiet county road and take in the views.
This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp.
