Unfortunately, like many parts of the East Coast, the land in the area has been poorly managed since European invasion, with logging, grazing, farming, and burning practices causing a decline in biodiversity. Despite this, he has come to love the Bungawalbin and has formed a very real bond with the whole area. He has persevered through the challenges and has found a home in the wilderness.
