This property used to house a starch factory. Back in the 1900s when starch was in high demand, starch was made from the base of the Burrowong right here. We are located 2 hours from Canberra and 2 hours from Nowra. We offer a cabin and campsites. The cabin is quaint, clean, homely with a great relaxing view. The campsites are isolated, peaceful, beautiful and chillaxing. They have a peaceful, rural setting with wonderful sunsets and close to water. You will be a short walk from the picturesque Clyde River where you can fish, paddle and swim. There is plenty of forest for hiking or bird watching in the area.A 20 minute drive south will take you to the Riverside village of Nelligen which has cafes, a pub and wonderful views of the Clyde.Please call before you leave home for directions as there is no mobile phone reception at this location.We look forward to welcoming you.
