Here you will enjoy a classic mountain lodge experience, situated in the heart of Kosciuszko National Park, complete with good food, après by the fire, snacks on the deck, king ensuite rooms, warm mountain hospitality and a friendly alpine vibe.

Commanding breathtaking views across the mountains and valley, Valhalla Lodge is situated in a quiet but central position, perched atop the ski village of Perisher Valley.

Snowbound for most of snow season, it’s an easy two-minute downhill ski to Perisher Ski Resort, with oversnows for your afternoon return. Marked cross country and snowshoe trails are right outside the lodge. For those seeking a unique winter experience, a magical Yule celebration is held annually in June.

Outside of ski season, Valhalla becomes the ultimate venue for lodge-based hikers and explorers of Kosciuszko National Park, small group getaways, celebrations, corporate groups, retreats. You can hire the whole chalet, fully staffed with an in house cook. Summer packages include all meals: hearty breakfasts, packed lunches, pre-dinner snacks and 2 course set dinners.

Valhalla Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 25 guests overnight featuring 12 king (or twin) ensuite room and 4 common areas including a spacious lounge with fireplace, cosy dining room, tv/games room with table tennis and a large open-air deck.

Located at the back of the lodge, these comfortable rooms overlook the tranquil snowgum bushland of Kosciuszko National Park. All rooms are non-smoking, with a private ensuite and either 1 x king bed or 2 x single beds. All guest rooms are located on the upper level, have adjustable central heating, opening window, wardrobe, hair dryer and are tidied daily.

Mountain View Room with En Suite

Large rooms located at the front of the lodge, featuring spectacular mountain views across Perisher Ski Resort and up through the valley. All rooms are non-smoking with a private ensuite and one king bed. A surcharge applies to convert to two single beds. All guest rooms are located on the upper level, have central heating, opening windows, a wardrobe, hair dryer and are tidied daily.
