During summer, lots of families and fishermen enjoy this place by Thredbo River. The former like to ride the Thredbo Valley track, walk riverside Bullocks track, or cool off in the in the water. The latter aren’t too fond of all that splashing but try to hook brown and rainbow trout with a spot of fly fishing.
For hardcore skiers, who are also very well-prepared, Thredbo Diggings campground is a short drive to the ski fields at Thredbo Alpine Village and the ski tube to Perisher.
