Candlebark, Shannons Flat

The property is located in Shannons Flat and offers a private bush camping experience. Firepits are available with plenty of firewood to use. There are plenty of bush walks in the surrounding area including some challenging walks up granite peaks but there are also easier walks to nearby settlers huts. There is top fly fishing just 15km down the road at upper Murrumbidgee. During winter you can go skiing at Mt Selwyn, or in summer, cool off with a swim in the local dam. We offer three camping sites for self-contained travellers, each site private from one another. We do not have facilities here, so you must be fully self-contained and take all waste with you.
