Escape the hustle bustle of life on the 10 acres alpaca life style farm which is nestled between beautiful hills and grazing properties on Walteela Road in Mannus (20 min drive to Tumbarumba). Walteela means “Place of Peace” and that is what you might be looking for. No traffic waking you listen to the sounds of nature instead.

Enjoy the peacefulness, see local wildlife (kookaburras, echidnas, wombats, kangaroos, etc.), relax by the small picturesque creek, with stunning mountain views and dark skies for star gazing. Birdwatchers, check out the abundance of bird life around.

Hand feed their friendly alpacas, greet the pet chickens and find some eggs. Plenty of room for kids to run around, ride their bikes, jump on the 16ft trampoline and play along the creek.

They only take one group at a time, however there are a couple of camp sites to choose from next to the bubbling creek. The most popular site is near the beautiful big old apple box tree, the other site is a bit further along the creek. The primitive loo with a view under the apple box tree is in short walking distance from both sites (about 20m and 70m).
