The DAG Sheep Station is located on 70 acres in the ‘Hills of Gold’ just outside Nundle, a picturesque village, less than an hour’s drive from Tamworth.
Originally part of ‘Wombramurra Station’ the DAG still retains the station’s original historic woolshed, worker’s cottages, shearers quarters and mess hall.
The DAG is a unique Australian venue which is a perfect setting for large group events, including weddings, conferences, functions and events.
The DAG has a licensed bar with open fires and spit roast catering.

The Shearers’ Quarters comprise eight queen rooms and two twin rooms in the original Shearers’ Quarters building. Two rooms are available with communicating doors to the twin rooms for families, if required. All rooms have individual entry. Bathroom facilities are shared.
All rooms have fans and electric blankets.
Electric Blankets ShowerThe Shearers’ Digs is a character filled group accommodation building with wide verandas and shared bathroom facilities. There are four family/bunk rooms, each with three doubles, and eight singles.
Electric BlanketsThe original 85 year old Cooks Cottage includes one queen bedroom, twin share room with two single beds, a separate bunk room, living area, kitchenette, reverse cycle air-conditioner and bathroom.
Air Conditioning Electric Blankets Kitchenette Private Bathroom ShowerThe original Overseer’s Hut, now affectionately known as “the Love Shack” includes one queen room, en suite with spa bath, reverse cycle air-conditioning and kitchenette.
