Simmo’s Offroad Tours boast an exciting range of fun and educational Eco Certified 4WD tours tailored for small groups – including Wine and Food Safaris, Scenic 4WD Tours, 4WD Tag-a-Long Tours, Camping Adventures and extended safaris across NSW.

Larger groups can also be accommodated, with buses available on request.

Wine lovers and foodies will love Simmo’s Food and Wine Safari – showcasing superb cool-climate wines and delightfully fresh produce of Orange, Bathurst and the Central West.

Simmo also provides fun and educational Scenic 4WD Tours across NSW including Hill End, Sofala, Ophir goldfields, Katoomba and the Blue Mountains, Abercrombie Caves, Jenolan Caves and Kanangra Boyd National Park.

Popular activities include bushwalking, wildlife photography, gold panning, trout fishing, mushroom collecting, swimming and kayaking.

For the truly adventurous Simmo provides fully-catered overnight Camping Adventures, where guests experience a night under the Southern Stars and enjoy wholesome campfire meals.

If camping is not your thing, Simmo has a range of extended 4WD safaris across NSW with pub stay, cabin and motel accommodation options.

If you own a 4WD, you can join Simmo on one of his regular 4WD Tag-a-Long Tours to learn what you and your vehicle are capable of!

Simmo conducts regular four wheel drive tag-a-long tours across Central and Western New South Wales, with interesting destinations including the greater Blue Mountains, Hill End, Sofala, Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Boyd National Park, Abercrombie Caves, Abercrombie River National Park, the Warrumbungles and outback NSW.

Simmo’s four wheel drive tag-a-long tours are great for those that own a 4WD or AWD vehicle and are looking for an experienced local guide to show the way and offer guidance on how best to use a four wheel drive vehicle in real situations.

Simmo runs a different Tag-a-Long Tour each month, ranging from easy to difficult, with optional tracks to suit your vehicle and experience. Like the Facebook page or join the mailing list for details of upcoming tours.

Simmo’s Food and Wine Safaris showcase the scenic sites and cool-climate delights on offer across the Orange and Bathurst Cool Climate Wine Region.

A perfect day out for couples, or that special group of friends, with buses available for larger groups by request.

As well as visiting the choicest of wineries, guests may like to visit a boutique brewery, local distillery, cider producer or cheese maker. Pick fresh fruit straight from the tree, or purchase venison from the farm gate!

From the comfort of Simmo’s modern Toyota Landcruiser explore challenging bush tracks, adventurous water-crossings, spot native animals – and travel back in time to the days of the Australian gold rush.

Simmo’s Outback Four Wheel Drive Safari is an extended Four Wheel Drive Tag-a-ong Tour showcasing the very best of country NSW, from Katoomba, to the Warrumbungles, Lightning Ridge and beyond!

Graded as an easy to medium grade Tag-a-Long Tour, it is suited for both Four Wheel Drive and AWD vehicles.

Highlights of this extended 4WD Tour include Katoomba and the majestic Blue Mountains, the goldfields of Hill End and Sofala, boutique wines of Mudgee, Aboriginal rock art of the Warrumbungles, Outback sculptures of the Pilliga, Black Opal Mining at Lightning Ridge, birdlife of the Macquarie Marshes and an African Safari at Western Plains Zoo Dubbo.
