Landing Lights Wetland (also known as Riverine Park Wetlands), is an environmentally significant natural area. The site contains some of the last remaining saline wetlands on the Cooks River and includes vegetation identified as threatened under NSW legislation (salt-marsh).
Landing Lights Wetland provide habitat for threatened migratory Wader Birds, the Grey-headed Flying Fox and Green and Golden Bell Frog. The Reserve also protects three Endangered Ecological Communities: Estuarine Saltmarsh, Swamp Sclerophyll Forest and Sydney Freshwater Wetlands,
Visit all year-round, a great spot for bird-watching and admiring our unique native as well as migratory flora and fauna.
