Beares Beach

Natural Attractions

Beares Beach is the closest surf beach to Bermagui and is popular with surfers and beach walkers.

It can produce some decent beach and reef breaks, facing east into the swell.

With its dramatic rocks, soft sand and sparkling blue water, Beares Beach is an idyllic spot for a morning beach stroll.

The southern end of the beach is dog-friendly with signposted areas for off-leash fun.

The beach is not patrolled, so take care when swimming or surfing as rips can be strong.
