Lake Street Shared Path

Natural Attractions

Merimbula’s elevated Lake Street Shared Path stretches 1.3 kilometres from Rotary Park to Bar Beach, with spectacular views across Merimbula Lake and to Main Beach.

The path is wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs, prams, dogs, and bicycles as well as walkers, joggers and those just there for the stunning views.

The elevated walkway starts at Rotary Park (corner of Main and Cliff Streets) and winds its way along Lake Street, ending at everyone’s favourite place to grab that all-important al fresco coffee, Bar Beach.

Bar Beach is one of the most picturesque spots in Merimbula, famous for its stunning turquoise channel and breathtaking views across Merimbula Bay and the rolling hinterland. Bar Beach is patrolled seven days a week in the summer months.

Merimbula village is located a 10-15 minute walk from Rotary Park, whilst Merimbula Wharf is located a 10-15 minute walk from Bar Beach.

Parking is available at Spencer Park, Rotary Park and Bar Beach.
