Spencer Park

Natural Attractions

Picturesque Spencer Park is a great spot for families with calm and clear water on the sandy edge of Merimbula Lake, as well as a playground and barbecue facilities.

Enjoy the beautiful views of vibrant Merimbula Lake, go SUPing or kayaking, or drop in a line and try your luck fishing off the sandy shore. It’s also a great place to go prawning when the conditions are right.

At low tide, you can stroll along the shallows to Bar Beach – keep your eyes peeled for crabs, fish and stingrays, as well as the resident pelicans. You can also step out along the 1.8-kilometre return Lake Street Shared Path which leads to Bar Beach along an elevated walkway.

Spencer Park has a playground, amenities, barbecue and picnic area, and is home to the Merimbula Fishing Club.
