Within Blue Mountains National Park, five minutes from the highway, is one of the most majestic waterfalls on the plateau.

Wentworth Falls picnic area is a great base to explore the lush world of rainforests and waterfalls along a range of spectacular walking tracks to suit all the family.

Wentworth Falls Lookout is an accessible lookout located just a few minutes walk from the carpark. From this lookout you will get a magnificent view of the valley and also the top section of Wentworth Falls waterfall.

Facilities at Wentworth Falls Picnic Area include car and bus parking, toilets, picnic tables and barbecues. If you come to Wentworth Falls by train, (two hours travel from Sydney) walk to Wilson Park, across the highway from the township. Darwins Walk starts in Wilson Park and commemorates a visit from Charles Darwin in 1861, and follows Jamison Creek to the top of Wentworth Falls.
