Blue Seafaris is an ocean tour provider specialising in Whale watching, Swim with Whales, and Snorkel and Freedive experiences.

Blue Seafaris operate daily tours from two locations in Northern NSW. The first one is Byron Bay snorkelling at Julian Rocks Marine sanctuary where visitors can enjoy the beautiful marine life. The second location is whale watching in Byron Bay departing from Brunswick Heads.

Another great location for visitors to enjoy snorkelling and whale watching is Cook Island island snorkelling in the marine sanctuary and whale watching from Tweed Heads.

In addition to these tours, Blue Seafaris also offer Learn to Freedive and Freedive training courses in both locations. Visitors can learn to dive or improve their diving skills while enjoying the beautiful ocean views.

Cook Island is an incredible sanctuary for not only Turtles, but Mantas, Eagle rays, harmless Leopard sharks, thousands of fish, dolphins and even Humpback whales in winter! “Joong-urra-narrian” marine sanctuary is a turtle and marine life hot spot just offshore from Fingal Head lighthouse and only a 15 minute boatride along the beautiful Tweed river.
On-board Marine biologist will guide to the best spots to see marine life.

A high-quality mask, set of fins and a wetsuit will be provided.

Explore the prolific marine life of Byron Bay at “Nuthungulli” Julian Rocks marine sanctuary. Snorkel and freedive with Turtles, Manta and Eagle rays, harmless Leopard sharks and thousands of fish!

Julian Rocks Marine Sanctuary in Byron Bay is rated as one of the best dive sites in Australia.

“Nguthungulli”, the local Arakwal name for this incredible place, offers protected safe and shallow waters perfect for snorkelling and freediving. Sitting off the most easterly point of Australia, Julian Rocks is a convergence point of warm tropical and cooler temperate waters, making it a marine wildlife hotspot!

Whales, Dolphins, Manta Rays, Leopard Sharks, Grey Nurse Sharks and Turtles are all common visitors. Nuthangulli is a perfect environment for snorkelling and freediving with prolific fish life and multiple areas to explore.

An on-board Marine biologist will guide you to the best spots to see marine life.

Enjoy the sights of the Byron coastline onboard comfortable, purpose-built vessel “Wardjum” – Bundjalung for a mythical sea creature.

Local dolphins and other marine life are often encountered on the way to Julian Rocks. Humpback whales are also a daily sight from June to November.
