Mawson Park Campbelltown

Parks and Gardens

Mawson Park is located on the corner of Queen and Cordeaux Streets in the central business district of Campbelltown. The park is named after Dr Mawson, brother of Sir Douglas Mawson of Antarctica fame.

Mawson Park is the site of the War Memorial. It is often used for formal ceremonies such as Anzac Day and Remembrance Day. The park is also popular for wedding photos because of its close proximity to St Peter’s Anglican Church on Cordeaux Street.

Mawson Park’s facilities include seating, toilets, extensive floral gardens and children’s playground equipment.
