Corrigans Beach Reserve Park and Accessible Playground

Parks and Gardens

Corrigans Reserve and playground is set on the calm bay of Corrigans Beach, at Batehaven, just four kilometres south of Batemans Bay. Opposite shops and next to a variety of accommodation options, Corrigans Beach Reserve Park is a perfect place for people of all abilities to enjoy.

The reserve area is a grassed, level open parkland with car-parking. There is a new Changing Places toilet facility adjoining the public toilets and other amenities.

A paved shared cycle and walking path makes the reserve accessible for people with limited mobility and prams. The pathway starts at the reserve and ends in Batemans Bay at the Murra Mia walkway on the waterfront. It is an eight kilometre return journey on a level paved surface.

The reserve features a fantastic accessible, fenced playground which includes a liberty swing. There is a balancing beam constructed of local recycled timbers and logs and loads of other kid friendly devices to play on.

Nearby bench seating, barbecue and picnic shelters make the park a popular family destination and the adjacent grassed areas host regular weekend markets, the annual summer Bells Carnival and other community and special events throughout the year.
