Campbell’s Wetland

Natural Attractions

A haven for twitchers, Campbell’s Wetlands is approximately 6kms north of Griffith CBD and attracts an abundance of birdlife, including freckled, pink-eared, blue-billed and musk ducks.

Take a walk around the edge of the wetlands during the summer months to see bush birds and migratory wading birds.

Featuring native tree planting and interpretive signs including Wiradjuri traditional uses, a visit to Campbell’s Wetland is sure to be a special environmental and cultural learning experience.

Griffith City Council is in the process of restoring Campbell’s Swamp to its former glory by building a new boardwalk and revegetating the walkway from the car park to the wetlands. (The boardwalk is closed until further notice)
