Two Worlds Sculpture

Landmarks and Buildings

Located on the corner of Homer Street and Sheridan Street, the Two Worlds sculpture was erected in October 2019.

Two Worlds celebrates the extraordinary connections and real-life parallels between Samuel Augustus Perry’s application of Greek mythology in the naming of Mt Parnassus and actual events in Gundagai. Drawing inspiration from the life of Perry and the Great Flood of 1852 the art explores the central idea of ‘two worlds colliding through time and space’!
