Governor Phillip Park

Parks and Gardens

Governor Phillip Park is a lovely spacious park in historic Windsor located on the banks of the Hawkesbury River. It offers shelted picnic areas, toilets, and electric barbecues. The park has a children’s playground, so it is the perfect spot for a barbecue or a picnic with family and friends – in the summertime enjoy the kid’s water play area. There is plenty of open space for families to enjoy. November is a pretty time of the year with the flowering Jacaranda trees.

Located at the end of the park there is a large public boat ramp where you can launch boats, canoes, and kayaks. Take advantage of the facilities and enjoy many types of water sports on the river. The boat ramp has parking facilities for both cars and trailers.
