Though primarily a music store, Repressed Records also has a good collection of second hand books for sale. Browse through Penguin classics, lots of Agatha Christie and even vintage poetry. You can also find independent books on the Australian music scene and international music magazines. The store itself is best described as ‘organised chaos’ – take some time to check out the bargain bins of CDs, new vinyl records, wall of DVDs and experimental bands you’ve never heard of. The staff are experts too and can point you in the right direction. .
