Cocky Guides: Sensory Adventures for Blind and Low Vision Travellers
Things To Do Hammondville, Liverpool, New South Wales
At Cocky Guides, they specialise in providing unique, multi-sensory adventures for the blind and low-vision community. Their number one priority is to make sure you feel comfortable, supported and included.
Each adventure is designed for travellers who are active and competent with mobility using either a cane, guide dog or a companion as a sighted guide. Their trip leaders provide vocal instruction to assist in navigating between one and six travellers in areas they know well. For technical navigation, like stairs or narrow environments, they may travel one at a time with their trip leader, providing one-on-one assistance when requested.
When it comes to delivering high-quality, safe and affordable sensory experiences, no other guides come close. Bursting with local insight and infectious enthusiasm, their friendly and experienced team will provide you with everything you’ve always wanted on a trip.
Care and passion for travellers, the community and the environment. Capable guides who deliver memorable and fun experiences. Creative knowledge-sharing and multi-sensory storytelling. Collaborative approaches to trip design and support.
