Sea to Summit Expeditions

Adventure and Outdoors Tours

You are invited to climb iconic Mount Gower with fifth-generation Islander, Jack Shick. Jack, a veteran guide of over 2300 walks, follows in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, both mountain guides before him.

Jack will demonstrate the kentia seeds being collected in the traditional way and you will see all four species of palms found on the Island. Rated as one of the top day walks in Australia and featured in many written articles and seen on television’s SBS, Global Village, Totally Wild, and Sir David Attenborough’s BBC Life of Birds.

On the ocean, join Jack on Noctiluca Charters, his eight-metre purpose-built vessel for a great day of deep-sea fishing, sightseeing or bird watching. They provide all the top name tackle and bait for fishing. The best time of the year to fish is between November and May (all trips are weather dependent).
