Chifley Dam

Chifley Dam is located a leisurely three hour drive over the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. It is a perfect location for a quiet weekend getaway or a fantastic fun holiday for the family. The dam is Bathurst’s water supply and recreation area – power boating, water skiing and sailing are permitted. The dam offers good fishing, cabin accommodation, barbecue and picnic facilities.

There is a free primitive camping area with a maximum of four camp sites, maximum stay is three nights.
