The Parkes Rockin’ Emu stands over 10 metres high on the side of the Parkes Service Club.

Artist John Murray depicts the colour and fun of the Parkes Elvis Festival while conveying the qualities of country life with the emu which is a trademark character of his.

This is just one piece of public art found in the Parkes region and is located on the side of the Parkes Services Club on the corner of Short Street and Caledonia Street
