NSW Hall of Champions

Galleries, Museums and Collections

Located in the Quaycentre, Sydney Olympic Park, the NSW Hall of Champions is a sports museum and hall of fame which celebrates this state’s greatest athletes. With 388 athletes representing 58 different sports on the honour roll, you will find many famous names such as Dawn Fraser, Don Bradman, Dally Messenger and Evonne Goolagong – sportsmen and women who have been elevated to the realm of national heroes.

As the birthplace of modern Australia, New South Wales has provided the nation with many ‘firsts’, and laid the foundations for great sporting traditions – cricket, rugby league, rowing, horse racing and swimming, to name a few.

Photographs and artefacts depict the memorable moments and moving performances that have inspired and filled the nation with pride.
