Starting at Settlement Point Reserve, they travel along Settlement Point Road then into town past the Marina, loop into Town Green, then onto Gaol Point lookout. Interestingly, Port Macquarie was once a settlement to provide secondary punishment for convicts who had re-offended in the colony of New South Wales. They will stop here to take in the best views in Port Macquarie viewing the mouth of the Hastings River, north to Point Plomer and around to Town Beach. This is also a great spot for whale watching and for photo opportunities.

Travel along the coastline, past Oxley Beach, down along Flynns Beach, then down Kenny Drive to Nobbys Beach. From Nobbys, they head to Shelley Beach through the Sea Acres rainforest canopy, then onto Lighthouse Beach to view the lighthouse and the coastline south to Lake Cathie. They then return to town along Pacific Drive giving another perspective of the coastline as they head north.

This is Australia’s Rural Experience.

Australia is a unique combination of beaches, cities and rural areas. In this tour, you will experience a sensory feast of the smells of bushland, farmland, cows, horses and more while travelling on roads where green and brown terrain meets beautiful blue skies.

This Bush Trike Tour is about 2.5 hours and is available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

They will travel from Port Macquarie and head into the outskirts of Wauchope, passing Wauchope Railway Station which opened on 12 April 1915, then head down to Rocks Ferry Reserve.

The Beechwood Hotel is a traditional country pub set in the picturesque Hastings Hinterland. The Hotel has a separate bar, bistro, pool table two beer gardens and a nice wood fire for the cooler months. The current hotel was built in the 1920s after a fire destroyed the previous one.

Returning to Port Macquarie, they will travel via Redbank Road which will give you a different perspective of the Hastings River, then be overwhelmed by Bago Bluff.

Where else can you experience a true beach-to-bush experience?

Port Macquarie is known for its extensive beaches and waterways. Its thick bush terrain stretches along the Hastings and is home to animals like koalas, deer, kangaroos and bats. Maybe, that’s why they have the Koala Hospital and Billabong Zoo!

Enjoy Port Macquarie Coasts, go through the wild, rough bush and then take in the spectacular views from North Brother. After that, stop for a meal at Brewhaven Cafe.

This Beach to Bush plus North Brother Trike Tour is about four hours.

You might be thinking of surprising someone or planning an adventure to celebrate a special occasion like a wedding, formal, birthday, or anniversary.

You might just want to find an excuse to go for a cheese and wine tasting. Perhaps visit some local beer breweries and try some local beer. Or enjoy a Country Pub Lunch.

How about a fancy fine dining but instead of a horse and carriage you get to ride on a trike? Or pretend to be Royal and go for fancy high tea. Or simply take it easy and enjoy the beautiful sunset.
