The entrance to Sussex Inlet is full of little beaches and great places to swim and paddle. The inlet is also a popular fishing spot, and the home of an annual fishing carnival. The inlet goes for seven kilometres between St Georges Basin and the ocean. Be careful when swimming or boating near the entrance to the ocean where there can be strong currents. Sussex Inlet Beach Surf Lifesaving Club has an beach wheelchair available, please call the mobile number provided for bookings.
