Tweed Eco Cruise’s River and Rainforest Cruise aboard the vintage river cruiser ‘The Golden Swan’ delivers an unforgettable 3.5-hour return trip journey along the Tweed River to the rainforest at Stott’s Island.

Guests can relax while taking in the abundant nature that the region’s river and mangrove system hold, whilst enjoying local Tweed Valley grown tea and roasted coffee served with a beautiful morning tea.

The tour provides commentary where guests learn about the region’s history, indigenous culture and our world-class ecosystem that forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage Gondwana Subtropical Rainforest. Enjoy a bird feeding experience with birds of prey (Eagles, Kites, Hawks) and pelicans at Stott’s Island nature reserve.

A unique four-hour Australian Indigenous Pot to Plate Adventure exclusive to Tweed Eco Cruises. This tour is an intimate cultural and nature-based experience with a Yugambah and Bundjalung Nation Elder.

Led by an Indigenous guide, explore the Tweed River on our customised boat. Guest’s will experience traditional vs modern-day crab and fish hunting techniques of the region’s first inhabitants. Watch as your guide cooks the catch over an open fire on the beach for your tasting pleasure.

The tour visits an oyster farm with a freshly shucked tasting session, a walk through the mangroves learning spear hunting techniques, pull up commercial crab pots and learn about the mud crab’s famous to this region. The freshest seafood is caught and cooked before your eyes complimented with the best of the Tweed Valley produce served on a sandbank for the ultimate dining experience!

Join Tweed Eco Cruises for some high-spirited fun on the water, cruising the Tweed River to Earth Beer Company. A live musician will keep you entertained as you cruise from the marina in Tweed Heads towards Cudgen, where guests will be transferred to Earth Beer Company for a guided tasting paddle. After a group sitting at the brewery, cruise back to the wharf with a shared grazing board to munch on.
