Cobar Show

Cobar Show will be ‘Looking Forward, Looking Back’ which is a nod to past show traditions while stepping into a new time with a new layout at its historical venue – Ward Oval. The 2024 event will feature all that we know and love about local shows – agricultural displays of wool, sheep, poultry, local business displays and horse events including 6 Bar. The main pavilion will feature flowers and displays, arts and crafts, fruits and vegetables and cakes. Food stalls will be ready to welcome hungry and excited patrons.

The kids will love the range of offerings across the two days – Mr Shaggles the clown and the pet show will be a hit! Rides, novalties and showbags will adorn the event precinct and bring joy to kids faces (and nostalgia to their parents)!

Stay and enjoy the evening atmosphere Friday night! The Sydney Fire Dancers will entertain the masses, a fireworks display will light up the evening sky, rides, showbags and novalty items will continue the fun under lights.

This year’s event also features the Show Bar, serving patrons on Friday evening in the new Ward Oval pavilion. Bring your mates, have a few laughs and enjoy the spectacle of the Young Farmers Challenge happening on Ward Oval.
