Fungi – Mushrooms Growing Workshop

This Fungi Feastival workshop is for anyone interested in learning how to grow oyster mushrooms at home.

Annette Kennewell is presenting this workshop at her small farm, Tilba Mushrooms, where she grows fresh oyster mushrooms for the Tilba Market in autumn and winter. Annette is one of the co-founders of the Fungi Feastival.

This workshop will include demonstration of how to grow oyster mushrooms in bags on sugar cane mulch inoculated with grain spawn; demonstration of how to grow oyster mushrooms in buckets on MushGrow wood pellets inoculated with grain spawn; and a tour of an oyster mushroom fruiting room plus review of books on how to grow mushrooms
