Astronomy at Mount Tomah

Classes, Lessons, Workshops and Talks

6 Sep 2024 Monthly Event

Join a night of astronomy and star gazing immersed in the World Heritage National Park, in the heart of the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden.

Discover what the night sky teaches you with distinguished Astrophysicist Dr Ángel Lopez -Sanchez and one of the First Nations educators.

More than 4,000 planets have been discovered and the team of experts will take you on a journey to these strange ‘other’ worlds. Powerful telescopes from the Northern Sydney Astronomical Society will allow a personal discovery of the world beyond Earth.

One complimentary drink and light snacks are included with each ticket purchase.

This event will take place regardless of the weather. If the night sky cannot be viewed other activities will be set up for you to enjoy.
