Join a knowledgeable guide as you tour historic Grossmann House, Maitland’s fully restored 1870 Victorian house museum, and be transported to times gone by.

A delightful array of homemade savoury and sweet treats, delicious finger sandwiches, refreshing fruit, tea, brewed coffee and juice will be set out for you to enjoy, and a celebratory glass of sparkling wine will be made available upon your arrival in the beautiful gardens of Brough House.

Built by Isaac Beckett, a prosperous Maitland merchant, Grossmann House is situated in the historic precinct of Church Street. Its twin, Brough House, was built by business partner Samuel Owens. For many years both properties were part of the Maitland Girls’ High School complex.
