Visit Newcastle in August! There is so much to enjoy in this beautiful city by the beach – the weather is usually crisp and clear. Stroll in tranquil Blackbutt Reserve and Hunter Wetlands Centre: enjoy a meal at the Wetlands Centre’s excellent café. Marvel at migratory waders at Stockton Sandspit as they return from their migration to Siberia and Alaska.

The Hunter Valley vineyards and beautiful Port Stephens are an hour away with fabulous dining options and scenic tours.
