Wildflower Brewing and Blending
Food and Drink Marrickville, Inner West, New South Wales
Wildflower was founded in 2016 by brothers-in-law Topher Boehm and Chris Allen. Since opening, they have been dedicated to making balanced, nuanced and interesting beers that are extremely drinkable. With a twist – all ales are fermented with a diversity of yeasts and bacteria collected from flowers native to New South Wales.
You can visit to grab takeaways throughout the week, then linger at the cellar door from Friday through Sunday. The menu of drinks available changes from week to week, but might include a Good as Gold barrel-aged beer, or Serenity #4 bitter beer made with organic grains and pride of Ringwood hops. A.P Bakery manages the kitchen, and serves a full menu of foods that go well with beer, from croquettes to schnitty, rillettes to pizza bianca.
Then each month, the brewery opens for a ticketed tour and tasting session that takes you through the establishment with Topher before you enjoy a guided tasting of core beers and current releases.
